A beautiful Love Story

First post for the new year! I want this post to bring some hope in what is to come this year rather than the doom and gloom that surrounds us!

Dust and I have had a turbulent beginning to 2009, I can't go into really why...but I can say that "when it rains it pours" has never reigned more true. One thing after another and I have been to the bottom and now, I'm on the up swing. Maxson my angel, it brings to mind such comfort, joy, and lots of tears! My soul aches and I'm learning that's okay. By having Maxson in my life, I feel more for those suffering around me more than ever! Maxson's sweet life changed me more than I EVER expected and it continues to. What a blessing Max IS! Although from here out my soul will experience pain I never knew before, I will also have more empathy than I knew was possible. With that I know I will reach out to those around me more. So Maxson lives on, without saying a word of kindness to anyone, he has and will spread love. I know some people don't leave behind such love in a lifetime. God really designed one of the most beautiful "LOVE STORIES" I have ever known by Maxson Linwood's life.

Now to lay out the plan for my next post. I love when all the blogs I follow use pictures, plus I want to tell you all and show you all the wonderful momentous blog readers have given to us. The outreach from women I don't even know has NOT just given me comfort it has inspired me! I want to share that with you. This can only be done with pictures, so I will get to it soon. I really think some of you will be in awe of the love some of the sisters in Christ out there show. Just read the comments and you will understand the amazing love people are willing to give and share with others. I know I am singing to the choir blog friend, but I can't stop thinking about how I want you ALL to know your love has been incredibly moving!

with love,

Trish

Note: some new songs added, go to the bottom of the page if it doesn't automatically play or if you want to play a new song.

Trish,

Thank you so much for your comment on my blog - I am glad you received the card.

I think about you, Dustin and Max every day.

Max touched so many lives and he is so loved. I watched his video now, and it made me cry from start to finish - it is so beautiful. The love that your family has for Max is clearly shown in the video on all your faces - he felt nothing but love for his time on earth..not many people can say that!

It still astounds me that such a tiny little boy whom I never met has had such a strong impact on my life.. he really touched something in my soul.. Bless you Max

I continue to pray for you and for Max - even though he is in the best place and wants for nothing..

Trish,

Thinking about you this morning and want you to know I am praying for you as your little Max tugs on your heart. He always will be right there as it is him who made you a mommy. I am praying that the turbulence will be behind you soon and that peace fills your heart.

Love and Hugs, Laurie

I am glad to see your new blog. I have missed them. I am still praying for you and your husband. I think of little Max often. At the toddler nursery at church I keep a little boy who is also a Maxson. When I was holding him last time I thought of your little Maxson and prayed for you.

Amen Sister... that a life has touched you so much that you will now feel sympathy & apathy & compassion like never before - that is a life that touches deep... & like you said, so many lives that are a long span dont even sadly do that.

Still praying for you & Dustin.. cant imagine how your lives have changed.

Hi Trish & Dustin,

Thank you so much for the beautiful Holiday Card! Max is so cute. :) Andrew was wondering if you guys moved, yet. He had a trip there last week and wanted to stop and see you both. So, let us know when you are settled in there. I just got off the phone with a woman who's prayer group has been praying for you all. It is such a miracle how Max has touched so many. Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Love,
Laurie & Andrew Nelson

Trish,
Think of you so often. Praying for peace to flood your heart and mind. Keep breathing and being patient with yourself. This is a long journey...never over, but the ground will not always feel so rocky.

Sending you much love.

Hi I just wanted to leave a comment and tell you you baby is beautiful. I just got done watching the slide show and crying my eyes out. My husband Jason and I just delivered conjoined twin girls two months ago and they only lived for an hour. God never left us and we rest in His sovereignty. Two books that really helped us during my pregnancy were Suffering and The Sovereignty of God and Safe In The Arms of God. We ordered a lot of the books to send to other families going through the same thing that we did. I would love to send the books to you. If you want them just email me you address and I will send them to you right away.

I'm so sorry for your loss,

Just wanted to leave y'all a note saying how much Max's life has touched mine. We have kept up with your blog through Magdalena Grace Roberts blog. I went to high school with Julie and know her sister Lori. Your faith in the Lord amazes me and makes me strive to know Him more every day. I know the Lord gives you all the strength you need. Magdalena went to be with Jesus early this morning and now Max has a new friend in heaven. Just wanted to let you know how much I have been encouraged by reading your blog even though I've never met you. May the Lord continue to give you an abundance of comfort and strength.

Sincerely,
Tiffany Brooks
